Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Monitor & review server backups (R1Soft CDP).
• Process customer orders and provision VPS Servers & Dedicated Servers.
• Candidates need to answer helpdesk tickets & live chat and calls to assist clients encountering problems with their dedicated servers / shared hosting / VPS Hosting.
• You should be dynamic to collect information about service incidents and search known error databases. Provide remediation & escalate as necessary.
• Respond to incoming abuse reports and notify clients or provide a basic investigation of abuse sources as determined by service level.
• Schedule and apply software and Operating System patches and updates as directed.
• Assist with provisioning tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Preferred skillset:

• Linux/Windows server administration
• Apache/IIS
• Nginx
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Mail service (postfix, exim)
• Shell scripting
• Basic ASP and .net familiarity
• Microsoft SQL Server
• General web technologies
• Hosting Control Panels
• SolidCP
• cPanel

Duty Timings :

• We operate on a 24 x 7 x 365 days basis.
• Shift timings for 5 working days are (i) 6:30 am to 4:30 pm (ii) 8:30 am to 6:30 pm (iii) 10:30 am to 8:30 pm (iv) 2:30 pm to 12:30 am (iiv) 4:30 pm to 2:30 am
• Night shift timing is - 10:30 pm to 6:30 am (6 working days)
• Job profile - Technical Support Engineer
• Qualification - IT Graduate / Post-graduate
• Experience - 0 - 5 years

Note: Shifts are rotated every month.
